The Mr.Roper Memorial Dog Park is NOW OPEN!
Our beloved Mr. Roper loved nothing more than to sniff and wander in our front field.
Private dog parks are quite common in other cities. We know that not all pet owners and their dogs enjoy the hustle and bustle of busy dog parks in our city. As most parks in the city do not permit dogs it can be difficult to find a quiet and safe place to spend off leash time with your pet.
We felt that the need for people to be able to have that one on one time in a park to play fetch, work on training and bonding with their pet was a unique service we could offer.
We are proud to be able offer the park to rent to the public.
Open daily from 7:00am-6:00pm
$20 for 30 minutes
$30 for 60 minutes
*Signed waiver and payment must be completed prior to entering the park.
*Social gatherings are not permitted in the park. All dogs must be from the same household.
Please email [email protected] to book your spot.

Mr.Roper spent the first half of his life on a farm in Prince George with a loving family. He was a therapy dog at a seniors lodge and was always a helpful companion at "Donkey Time Ranch" to his previous owners.
He came to live on our farm at the Kelowna Pet Resort when he was 7 years old and his previous family had to downsize due to some health issues.
Mr.Roper also known as Roper, Ropee or Ropey-Poo by his endless fans, didn't miss a beat coming to our farm. He fit right in with our family and the kennel environment. He loved doggy daycare, helping with chicken chores and playing with the Shardlow girls Norelle and Gillian.
He was a super gentle dog and trustworthy with baby chickens, bunnies and any pups that came to visit the resort.
Sadly, Mr.Roper passed away in May of 2021 at the age of 14.
The park is dedicated to Mr. Roper. We hope that other pet pawrents will
have as much fun and enjoyment with their pet on our farm as we do with our pets.
