The Kelowna Pet Resort is proudly partnered with Tracy Vicente with "The Grateful Dog". Tracy is running training courses at the resort using 'positive reinforcement techiniques'.

Classes will currently be held inside our 'Little Pups Playhouse'. Tracy will also hold outdoor classes in the 'Mr. Roper Memorial Dog Park' situated out front of the resort (weather dependant).

"PUPPY CONFIDENCE" class
6 week class for puppies ideally ages between 11 and 14 weeks at start of class.
The class focuses on socialization, connection behaviours, boundary training, loose leash walking, drop it, recall, mental enrichment, handling, and the evolution from crazy puppy shark to a calm, polite adult dog.
The first 16 weeks of your puppy's development are critical for the development of a happy, confident dog. Do not delay.
The cost is $250. Classes are 45 minutes each with playgroup session at the end (may run 50 minutes overall).
Updates on vaccinations for the dog (DAP & Bordetella) must be shown at class 1 or photo of certificate emailed.
"THE FAMILY DOG" class
5 week class for teens and adults 5 months and up
The class focuses on mature and useful life skills such as leave it, wait, polite greetings with people and people with dogs, counter conditioning strategies for teen excitement, recall, enrichment, and kind strategies for the journey to a calm, polite adult dog.
The cost is $250. Classes are an hour each.
* Dog must not have any aggression to dogs or people.
